Richard Castle IV

Former Head of Legal at an International Investment Bank to manage the Legal Department to provide legal services to the entire bank and all departments, including: Corporate, Retail, Capital Markets, Asset Finance, Risk Management, and Human Resources.

Recent expertise includes:

strategic partnership with KPMG, London, United Kingdom, to provide Management Consulting services post-Brexit;
advising BSP Corporate on PNG$380ml (GBP£83ml) debt restructuring of PNG National Mining Company with government guarantees and various joint venture projects;
advising BSP Capital on share disposal of Port Moresby Stock Exchange ("POMSOX"); and
steering committee advisor to BSP Asset Finance on M&A transaction involving AUD$800k (£433k) transaction of asset finance company in Laos.

International expertise includes the London offices of Clifford Chance LLP to defend Barclays Bank Plc against regulatory investigation involving the European Commission and United States Department of Justice.

Academic expertise includes publication of peer reviewed legal academic article with Oxford University Press.

Achievements include selection to trial for National Taekwondo Team and winning medals at national and regional levels.
